ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manage and train employees in processing, underwriting, loan closing and origination according to D.L. Evans Bank policies and procedures. The ability and knowledge to backup all branch positions when needed. Knowledgeable in all real estate computer programs and able to train employees in these programs with respect to their positions. Responsible for hiring and developing all positions within the branch. Capable of completing annual performance reviews, performance related goals and plans for improvement (if needed) for all employees. Must be able to release individuals when they do not perform. Ability to become proficient and train all originators in regards to department lending programs. Promote a team marketing approach within the branch while leading the way to represent the department at all realtor, builder, bank and community functions. Identifies and analyzes potential loan markets to develop prospects for residential real estate loans. Advises bank management of external factors that may affect establishment lending policies, such as new or revised legislation and regulations. Recommends and implements appropriate changes to establishment policies and procedures. Promotes and cross-sells other bank products and services. Provides loan information to support marketing and sales promotion programs and assists in the development of an annual advertising plan for the Boise market. Assists customers with inquiries and information requests and resolves complaints relating to loan products and services offered.
Supervisory responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees in the area real estate office. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
