We have hired a team of individuals that will be taking the lead on making the South Ogden branch a success. Bruce Ashcroft has joined the Bank as Senior Vice President Utah Area Manager. He comes to D.L. Evans Bank with extensive experience in the banking industry. Kent Francis is the Vice President South Ogden Branch Manager and he joins D.L. Evans Bank with many years of banking experience and relationship building in the Northern Utah area. Angela Weppner is the Operations Supervisor and she joins D.L. Evans Bank with several years of banking and management experience. Bruce, Kent, Angela, and the rest of the South Ogden team will do an excellent job serving South Ogden and the surrounding areas.”

SBA Rural Lender of the Year

D.L. Evans Bank is proud to be recognized by the Small Business Administration’s Boise District Office as the SBA Rural Lender of the Year for 2018.  A five time recipient, D.L. Evans Bank is the only financial institution in the state of Idaho to have received the award. With a strong focus on banking small businesses, the Bank is a Preferred Lender with the SBA, and has been a long-time advocate of SBA programs throughout the Bank’s thirty-one branch network. 

JV Evans, Executive Vice President of D.L. Evans Bank, accepted the award on behalf of the Bank at the Boise Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year and Chamber Excellence Awards Luncheon held at the Boise Centre in Boise, Idaho. The award was presented by Jeremy Field, Regional Administrator for the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The Tremonton team is having great success and when the opportunity was presented for us to open a branch in South Ogden, we knew it was the right move for our institution. We have hired a team of individuals that will be taking the lead on making the South Ogden branch a success. Bruce Ashcroft has joined the Bank as Senior Vice President Utah Area Manager. Fruitland Grand Opening Celebration

Congratulations Riley Garcia

Riley previously held the position of Teller and in her new position as Personal Banker, Riley will be helping her customers with any needs for auto loans, home equity line of credits, credit cards, new accounts, or any other personal banking needs. NeighborWorks Boise Donation

D.L. Evans Bank recently donated $2,500 to NeighborWorks Boise. The funds will be used for the Paint the Town Boise annual event. NeighborWorks  Boise is a local non-profit organization that provides services focused on the needs related to housing.

Congratulations Cande Serrano

Congratulations Silvia Morrow

John V. Evans Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of D.L. Evans Bank, is pleased to announce that Silvia Morrow has been promoted to the position of Vice President Branch Manager at the Nampa Karcher branch.

Silvia has thirty-seven years of banking experience and has been with D.L. Evans Bank since 2017 and she previously held the title of Vice President Commercial Loan Officer. She is active in her community as a member of the Finance Committee for Terry Reilly Health Services. She previously served as committee chair for the Microloan Committee through the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, was a President of Image de Idaho, a previous board member for West Valley Medical Center, and a past Secretary and President for the Caldwell Lions Club. In her free time Silvia loves spending time with her husband on the golf course and making memories with her five beautiful granddaughters.

We have had multiple requests from the local community for a branch in Blackfoot and we are happy to be able to fulfill the financial needs of our customers.  Our customers are a priority and we are focused on serving them and providing them with the best customer service.”  The bank has hired a great team of employees that will be located at the new branch.  Bart Brown has joined the bank as Vice President Blackfoot Branch Manager.  Bart has twenty-two years of banking experience and has extensive knowledge in management, commercial and agricultural lending.  He is actively involved in his community as an elected City Council member for the City of Blackfoot, a board member for the Bingham Urban Renewal Agency, and he serves as the Treasurer for the local Bingham United Rugby Club.  Joining Bart is Stacey Martin as Commercial Loan Officer.  Stacey has twenty years of banking experience and is committed to serving her community by being involved with the Blackfoot Chamber of Commerce, the Blackfoot Rotary Club, as well as the Soroptimist of Blackfoot.  Also, joining the Blackfoot team is Bill Hudson. Bill holds the position of Vice President Senior Commercial Loan Officer.  Bill has been with D.L. Evans Bank since 2016 and has been located at the Idaho Falls branch. Bill is very involved in his community, and dedicates his time to various community events and organizations, including the East Idaho Falls Rotary Club.

Welcome Geoff Coonce

John V. Evans, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of D.L. Evans Bank, is pleased to announce the appointment of Geoff Coonce to Commercial Lending Specialist at the Meridian branch.

Geoff has over ten years of banking experience and worked for the Idaho Department of Finance as a Financial Institution Examiner. Over the years he has volunteered for a variety of community events and non-profit organizations in the Treasure Valley. Geoff was recently introduced to the Meridian Chamber of Commerce and he plans to continue his support of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the Idaho Food Bank. He is a proud supporter of local activities and is excited to continue helping improve the quality of life for those in his community. Geoff was born and raised in Idaho and loves to spend his free time fishing. He achieved his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Boise State University.

Shop With A Sheriff Donation

Congratulations Jordan Ward
