We are excited to provide more details regarding the acquisition of First Interstate Bank by D.L. Evans Bank. Our goal is to ensure a seamless transition and to keep you informed about any changes that may impact your deposit accounts as they move to D.L. Evans Bank.

Below, you'll find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions as we approach the transition date on Friday, August 16, 2024.


What will the new Ketchum branch hours be?

Lobby: M-TH 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

                 F: 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Drive Through: M-F 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Will my FIB accounts stay the same?

FIB customers will keep their same account number. Your routing number will change, and you will need to update any direct deposits/auto payments to reflect the new routing number. You will receive a pack of starter checks to begin using August 17th .

What if I already have D.L. Evans Bank accounts and online banking?

Your D.L. Evans Bank online banking username and password will not change. You will see the new account on your online banking/Bill Pay beginning August 17th after 1:30 p.m. (MDT).

How will new customers access online banking?

Customers, with no current D.L. Evans Bank relationships, will need to enroll in online banking beginning August 17th after 1:30 p.m. (MDT). You can enroll in online banking at www.dlevans.com using a supported browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) on your computer or mobile device. You can also enroll in online banking via the mobile app. NOTE: Customers can enroll in online banking via the mobile app. Zelle and Bill Pay enrollment must be done through a supported browser.

Will new customers have to re-enroll in Bill Pay/ Zelle if they were previously enrolled at FIB?

Yes, in order to access Bill Pay or Zelle, you will have to enroll through your online banking using a supported browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) on your computer or mobile device. You will have to set up all payees/contacts and payments again. NOTE: Bill Pay and Zelle enrollment cannot be done through the mobile app. 

Will my FIB online alerts transfer over from FIB to D.L. Evans Bank?

No, you will need to set up all online alerts through your D.L. Evans Bank online banking profile.

Will I get a new debit card?

Yes, you will receive your D.L. Evans Bank debit card via mail before the acquisition and can begin using the card August 17th after 1:30 p.m. (MDT). You will need to activate your card and select a PIN by calling 1-800-992-3808. (If you have not received your card, please contact the debit card department at 208.678.2529.) Your FIB card will be deactivated as of August 16, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (MDT).
