"Tanzania Migration Safari Tour"

February 8-19, 2015

Join the Premier Club as we experience Africa on our "Tanzania Migration Safari". Spend your first night in the beautiful Serena Mountain Lodge on the banks of the Y! Next our adventure takes us to Lake Manyara a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as "the loveliest I had seen in Africa". Lake Manyara's woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara's legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Squadrons of banded mongoose dart between the acacias, while the diminutive Kirk's dik-dik forages in their shade. Manyara is home to over 400 species of birds. We then continue on to the Ngorongoro Crater conservation area. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world's natural wonders, once a volcano higher even than Kilimanjaro, the center was cataclysmically blown out leaving a crater 10 miles wide and 1500 feet deep where you can now see twenty thousand animals. East of Ngorongoro is the rift valley and Lake Manyara, and west the vast Serengeti plains where two million wildebeest and zebra make their annual migration in continual search of fresh grassland. Following close behind you'll witness a number of predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas. Tanzania has the greatest variety of scenery and wildlife of any country in Africa and all can be experienced on a Tanzania Migration Safari with the "Premier Club".
