Italy from Sorrento to Rome

May 21 – 31, 2024

Begin your tour in Sorrento, Italy – the gateway to the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy five nights in one hotel. You will have a guided city tour of Sorrento; see the Piazza Tasso, Basilica of Saint Anthony, and stroll the pedestrian-filled streets. Next, you will discover Amalfi’s stunning coastline with miles of hairpin turns offering spectacular vistas and visit the Duomo which dominates the central piazza. Pompeii is your next stop where the story of the rise and fall of this ancient city comes to life.  Explore the island of Capri with breathtaking beauty and Mediterranean charm. After leaving Sorrento, Rome will be your home for the next four nights. Enjoy a guided tour of the Eternal City including the Coliseum. Attend a cooking class where you will learn to prepare homemade pasta. You will then visit the smallest independent state in the world: Vatican City, including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, home of amazing art of the Roman Renaissance and Baroque periods. As you bid “arrivederci” to Italy, leave with wonderful memories of the scenery, culture, monuments, and history of this amazing country.

Nashville & the Smoky Mountains Holiday

November – December 2024

Step back in time on a holiday getaway that opens in the “Music Capital of the World” – Nashville – and the glorious Gaylord Opryland Resort. A local guide will share the history and lore of Music City during a sightseeing tour including the State Capitol, Music Row, and the Parthenon. Then take your reserved seat at the renowned Grand Ole Opry. Enjoy a tour of RCA Studio B where Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, and Charlie Pride once recorded some of their classic hits. Later, explore the Country Music Hall of Fame then it’s your choice! Embark on a cozy carriage ride or an indoor river cruise. Travel east to Gatlinburg, a lively mountain resort for two nights. Visit a Smoky Mountains Christmas at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge then explore the most visited national park in the United States – the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Your last two nights are in Asheville, North Carolina. Tour the sprawling Biltmore Estate adorned with Christmas décor. As you venture home, take the holiday spirit and the warmth of America’s Southeast with you.

Sedona’s Red Rocks & the Grand Canyon

April 21 – 26, 2024

Your Arizona Adventure begins with one night in Scottsdale before your four-night stay in Sedona. Visit Montezuma Castle National Monument, an ancient five-story Indian dwelling carved out of a great limestone cliff. You will then have a narrated trolley tour in Sedona. Travel to the spectacular South Rim of the Grand Canyon and then climb aboard the Grand Canyon Railway to enjoy the ever-changing terrain. Your next railway experience is outside of Jerome, a restored mining town, on the Verde Canyon Railroad. You will journey over old-fashioned trestles, past ancient Indian ruins, and through a 700-foot tunnel. You will have plenty of free time and amazing food before your Red Rocks & Grand Canyon Adventure ends.

Journey to the East Coast and begin your Summer Breezes Tour with a three-night stay in Washington D.C. Enjoy an illumination tour of the city upon arrival. A day of  exploration awaits in our nation’s capital including a city tour, the Smithsonian, Washington and Lincoln Monuments, Jefferson Memorial, and the Korean, Vietnam, and Second World War Memorials. Visit Mount Vernon, the former plantation of George Washington and Arlington National Cemetery including the Tomb of the Unknowns and Changing of the Guard. Explore Colonial Williamsburg on your way to Virginia Beach, home for four nights. Norfolk, Virginia is just half an hour away from Virginia Beach. Travel to the Nauticus and Battleship Wisconsin and enjoy a cruise around Norfolk to see the magnificent Naval Ships. Adventure to the Outer Banks of North Carolina – America’s First Beach. Visit the Wright Brother National Memorial and then head to Corolla where wild horses roam among the sand dunes. Back in Virginia Beach, enjoy a city tour including the Cape Henry Lighthouse built in 1792 and the Military Aviation Museum which is home to one of the largest private collections of WWI and WWII era military aircraft in the world.
